The need for a commercial and dedicated client driven response service prompted Sirius Risk Management (Pty) Ltd

to introduce a response service to its base of business clients. The launching of this service took place on the 1st of July 2006 along with the rendering of guarding services.

The above services are being differentiated in that 9mm non lethal as well as lethal weapons are used. This approach subscribes to our company policy with regards to the use of a proactive minimum force approach.

The response service is linked to the company’s sophisticated electronic security systems, which is managed from its Randburg Headquarters Operations

24-Hour Computerised Control Centre

The control room facilities ensure a consistently high performance standard. Systems currently utilized in the control room are:

  • Remote CCTV monitoring.
  • Radio Data Communication (RDC) transmitter monitoring.
  • Vehicle tracking and Managing system.
  • Easy Roster human resource management system.
  • Guard patrol monitoring system.
  • Alarm monitoring.

Sirius is equipped with the latest Solar & Generator backup power solutions which provides uninterrupted power to the Sirius Server & Control room in the event of any power failure, therefore  Sirius  is able to provide 24/7 service to our clients.

Control Centre rendering Facility Management Services

A new extension to the Control Room facilities of Sirius Risk Management  was the introduction of facility management services in support of its Property Management clients. This service will enable facility managers to process tenants complaints via the Group’s 24 hour Control Centre. Complaints of a technical or repair nature will be processed via e-mail with a recognized service provider
